Hot Dogs

Mitch and I had a business meeting yesterday, got some things finalized; we’re getting close. It’s pretty exciting seeing everything come together, adding the finishing touched to our designs, choosing shirt manufacturers and colors; very exciting actually.

After we talked shop for a bit, we left the lab and crossed the river to Zach’s Shack; a great little hot dog joint I had never been to.

I ordered the cheddar-filled sausage chili dog.

37 seconds later.

In true Portland fashion.

On the way home, we ran into a beautiful Oregon storm, and I am 97% sure we were a few inches away from being struck by lightning.

I want another chili dog.

Our Demise

Well, I may have spoke too soon for our Blazers. Hell, we didn’t even put up a fight. I still had a good night though; went to Silver Dollar Pizza out in NW, drank some Sprite, ate some pizza, and hung out with friends. Good times…

The beers had been ordered and the game had begun by the time I showed up; the street car is convenient, so I shouldn’t complain, but I will anyways. It’s so fucking slow.

This was the only good part of the game if I remember correctly.

Gary hates cameras. Jena doesn’t.

Darrin was watching that Chicago/Boston game damn near go into quadruple overtime.

Shorty showed up just in time to see the loss.

Game was over, so we rolled over to Jena’s place. Shorty hadn’t visited with her dog Rocco in a while, as he now lives with Jena, so it was a nice reunion.

Jena’s ceiling light casts a sick shadow and is a gorgeous fixture to boot.

Went home, fell asleep early.

Handlebar Basket

I want one of these. I have tried to run a basket on a few of my bikes in the past, but was just never satisfied with the mounting hardware and flimsy structure of the different options I experimented with. This is the “why didn’t I think of that” solution…
